So today was interesting….

I went to “secret shop” my local competition in the self storage market. It made me realize how easy it would be to impress our customers. (I work in the self storage industry). Out of approx 20 facilities, only 2 asked for my contact info to follow up! 😱😱

Only 2 offered to show me the unit in question. Yikes! Talk about bad customer service. Most of the offices looked dirty and had a ton of clutter.

Very few managers stood up, smiled, and greeted me. Most didn’t even seem happy to have a potential customer. Doesn’t everyone value quality customer service??

    I definitely value customer service! If you don’t enjoy your job, that’s understandable, but definitely find something that suits you and your personality. Don’t make other people suffer because you are miserable!
